Good location for seeing Valladolid & very helpful staff. Attractive public rooms. Very nicely furnished bedroom.
Our room, 204, which was an attic room, had no opening windows, only Velux skylights, & in places it was easy to bang your head on the beams. It was difficult to sleep due to security lights in the bathroom (4) which couldn't be turned off, as well as another one in the bedroom. This produced a feeling of trying to sleep in a moonlit room without any curtains. The bed was not good enough for a 5* hotel, & the mattress transmitted movement far too much.

From the moment we walked into this luxury hotel, we knew we were in for an exclusive travel experience. the service was impeccable and exceeded our high expectations. the private sauna and room amenities were exceptional, creating a true oasis of relaxation. We enjoyed dining in the restaurant, where the top, notch cuisine and fine wine list were unforgettable.
the gym was undersized, making it difficult to get a full workout.

The service was outstanding- a professional, 5 star staff: knowledgable, discreet, and well-trained. The hotel's 18th century period decor was well-done and enhanced the experience. The hotel was like a museum and a good reason to choose this hotel if you enjoy staying at an interesting hotel. Each room is named after a significant 18th Century Spaniard. Valladolid is quiet on Sundays so this is a good night to eat at the hotel's excellent restaurant. Even if you do not stay here, the hotel restaurant is worth a taxi ride to dine here.
The only caveat to staying here: the hotel, located in a renovated former mill, is a bit isolated from the city center (about a 10-15 walk) but this did not negatively impact my stay. Taxis are readily available and an inexpensive option.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the city center, just a short walk away. It is also near a secure underground parking area, although not very convenient. Guests can enjoy strolling by the local farmer's market on the way to the hotel. the rooms are spacious and modern, with elegant decor. the staff provides excellent service, accommodating guests' needs. the breakfast is served in a sunny room and offers a variety of options. Some rooms offer a view of the river and the main street.
The hotel does not provide free bottled water, and guests have to purchase it from the minibar.

Absolutely lovely - wonderful room and breakfast The equivalent in the UK would be over £200 - probably why there are alot of empty hotels in the uk

The hotel had a nice decor and modern bathrooms. the location was ideal, as it was close to the main plaza and within walking distance to different restaurants. the breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold items.
The lack of lighting in the rooms made it difficult to see inside the armoire and in other areas of the room. the noise from the street outside was quite loud and made it challenging to sleep at night.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, with well-maintained rooms and facilities. The hotel provided convenient parking options, with drop-off parking available and good free parks in the nearby street. The location was perfect, just on the outskirts of the city center, making it easy to explore. I especially enjoyed the scenic walk across the bridge and along the riverside, which was absolutely beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.

Excellent hotel.. Beautifully decorated, comfortable room and bed. Good Wifi. The hotel is about a ten minute walk from the center of Valladolid and only two minutes from the river parks. The breakfast is pure five star, old school. Very high quality served delights and excellently prepared. I would recommend this hotel over any I've stayed in in Spain so far.. (And that's a lot) No pool, good Gym. A word of caution if visiting Valladolid.. Tourist information is very very bad and ill signed.. Be prepared and know where and when you want to visit. Opening and closing hours can be a surprise and are not consistent..
